What SPF to get for photos

With summer weddings in full swing it’s really important to wear sunscreen on your wedding day especially as many celebrations are taking place outside in the heat. So make sure you choose the right SPF!

Many sunscreens can cause a ‘white cast’ on your photographs. This means during your evening photos, some SPF creams can cause the bright white flashback effect and the light bounces off your face and this makes your skin look different to your natural skin tone (often lighter).

Here is my 2 top SPF creams I like that are UV ray protecting, meaning they will not reflect light in your wedding photos.

Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen from Glossier.

This “unseen” sunscreen also provides a dewy glow. It is Lightweight and non-greasy, this water-gel formula feels like a serum and protects against sunburn. £25.

Charlotte Tilbury Invisible UV Flawless Poreless Primer SPF 50 is a soft focus beauty glow filter that creates a flawless, poreless looking canvas for makeup whilst providing hydration and essential daily UVA/UVB defence with SPF 50-

suits every age, skin type and skin tone! £39
