Personalised Makeup Lessons
Learn how to do your own makeup like a pro!
Learn how create flattering makeup on yourself and learn to enhance your natural beauty and feel confident. Book a bespoke 1-2-1 makeup lesson and discover the secrets to flawless makeup application that is on trend yet stylish and anti-ageing. You will learn what colours suit you, which products are best for your skin type and how to enhance your natural features.
Lessons take 2 hours and it is tailored to suit your makeup goals and current experience. I discuss what looks you want to learn and what you would like to master for example eyeliner. I will look through your makeup bag and brushes- so please bring this with you on the day. I will assess which products are suitable and what you might need to get. I work out with you the colour selections so you know what colours work to enhance your eye colour, skin type and hair colour. I share my 20+ year knowledge with you and give you tips and tricks to help you create long lasting beautiful makeup tailored to you and make you more comfortable and confident in applying your own makeup.
Lessons take place in my makeup studio in TW27PB. Gift Vouchers are also available if you would like to treat a loved one. A deposit of £50 (which is non- refundable -this includes acts of God, fire, pandemic, illness, strike and/or extreme weather- but is deductible from final amount) is required to hold the appointment in my diary. This is deducted from the final amount of the makeup lesson to be paid 2 days before the lesson date.
I follow Carla on insta and always love seeing what she's purchasing and posting, so I purchased two lessons as a Mother's day gift. I love makep so thought it was a great way to spend a couple of hours with my Mum and learn some new tricks. Carla is warm and welcoming, immediately putting us at ease and her studio is fabulously decorated adding to the whole experience. We had brought our makeup bags along and we chatted through what was in them and what our current skincare and makeup routine consisted of. Carla asked what type of look we wanted to learn/develop and talked through skin tones and colours that would work well for each of us.
Carla tailored the lesson well giving us each the information to all the questions that came up. I wanted to learn the best way to do an eyeliner flick. Turns out I was drawing it in the wrong place and Carla suggested a better tool for making it easier.
My Mum loved the whole experience and looked extremely glam. She learnt a lot of new techniques and talked about the lesson for the whole drive home.
I cannot reccomend Carla highly enough. Will definitely be returning at some point to refresh my look and learn further skills. The little goodie bag to take home was a lovely touch ~ Carly
